In addition, our environmental technicians perform various tasks associated with emergency response clean-up, industrial cleaning, and remediation with opportunities to advance your career within PECCO.

As you will be a valued team member on our field operations team, our environmental technicians are required to successfully pass PECCO’s pre-employment background check, and drug screening and continually pass drug screenings per company policy.

PECCO’s candidate requirements:

Possess a CDL Class A or B license; prefer but not required tanker, HAZMAT, endorsements(H, N, or X)
N
A team player with a focus on safety and quality for the entire team
N
Capable of performing physical labor associated with the vehicle
N
Willingness to learn our provided, paid training at no cost
N
Be comfortable in working in a variety of elements and performing non-routine work
N
Conducts and reports pre-trip and post-trip inspections noting and explaining defects or deficiencies to mechanics.
N
Identifies the need for vehicle repairs and/or maintenance and is accountable for ensuring the maintenance or repairs are accomplished with minimum disruption to the operation.
N
Safely perform the task given by the transportation operations manager. Inspects and performs general preventative maintenance activities, repairs, and cleaning of the truck cab. All equipment should be ready for use and in good condition at all times.

Ensure internal and external customers are served professionally by providing timely and responsive customer service.
N
Interacts professionally with customers and co-workers.
N
Complete and submit all associated paperwork as required per D.O.T Regulations
N
Peterbilt Fleet
N
Other duties assigned by management
N
Minimum of 1-year experience preferred but not required driving similar trucks.
N
Must be dependable, a self-starter, and able to identify and perform daily operation requirements
N
Ability to work overtime and/ or the occasional weekend, and/or holidays
